Piper Anderson is a Toronto-based Painter and Mixed Media Illustrator who creates expressive figurative art geared to both children and adults. In her work, she explores the psychology of people and the tenderness and complexity of childhood, with a little dose of dark humour thrown in for good measure. Her compositions are crafted by interweaving layers of texture, line work and vibrant colour, completely by hand.

Piper sells her work at shows and works on commissions, mainly for her line of personalized art for children – Rockstars & Superheroes on Etsy. These small art keepsakes, on gallery canvas, are painterly style mixed media illustrations with a photocopy of your child’s face collaged in. NOTE: Piper is currently halting commissions for Rockstars & Superheroes to work on a book project, and then have her second baby in September.
