Here is a clip of a mixed media painting I am working on for AWOL Gallery’s annual, original Square Foot Show this August. This painting features my character, Clementine who made an appearance at the show in 2009 and was sold. Clementine asked to not be shown in this photo. She says she will not be ready until the day the show opens. What kind of artist/mom would I be if I didn’t respect her wishes?

This year, the show will be at Twist Gallery @ Queen West and Dovercourt from August 6-21. It features hundreds of artists works in a 12 x 12 inch grid format. All works are original and affordable. I highly recommend checking the show out. It is always such a feast for the eyes.
